Kriss Stepps, M.D.

2005
Dr. Stepps, a proud native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, is a dedicated advocate for sacrificial service and hard work. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and pursued his Doctorate of Medicine and specialty training in Internal Medicine at The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, NW Campus.
Currently serving as the Medical Director for DePaul Community Health Center under Ascension Health Services, Dr. Stepps has a diverse leadership background. He served as the Student Government Association President at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, President of the Medical/Dental Preparatory program at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, and a Regional Director/National Executive Board Member of the Student National Medical Association.
Dr. Stepps is known for his selfless commitment to personal growth and community service. He volunteers his time to read to elementary children, mentors college students, supports young physicians, and promotes health literacy among the elderly. As the CEO of SteppsMD, he empowers individuals to lead holistic and successful lives through motivational resources.

Tyree D. Brinson, Psy.D

Dr. Tyree D. Brinson is a highly accomplished and licensed clinical psychologist with a diverse educational background. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Tennessee State University, and a Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from Adler University.
As the co-owner/clinical director of Dr. Tyree Brinson & Associates, LLC, a private practice in Olympia Fields, IL, he provides essential behavioral health services, clinical consultation, and mental health workshops. Dr. Brinson has an impressive history of professional engagements, including serving as a clinician consultant for the NFL's Chicago Bears for three seasons, conducting pre-employment psychological evaluations for police and firefighters, and working as a psychologist consultant with school districts.
His expertise extends to academia, where he taught psychology courses as an adjunct professor at multiple institutions, including the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago State University, St. Xavier University, Harold Washington College, and The International Academy of Design and Technology.
An exceptional trailblazer, Dr. Brinson became the first African American psychologist to receive privileges at Advocate South Suburban Hospital. He conducts psychological evaluations for surgical suitability and serves as a consulting psychologist for the Department of Children and Family Services. Dr. Brinson compassionately treats individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a wide range of psychological challenges with a culturally competent approach to support his patients and community.
